High Kernock is a small quiet caravan and camping park just over the border into Cornwall. It is set in the countryside with far reaching views to Kit hill and Bodmin Moor. Tents, caravans, motor homes, and dogs are all accepted. The site is gently sloping, grassy and with trees bordering one side and is run by Judith and her partner Graham.

Near to High Kernock Camping Park
The village of Pillaton is a five minute walk away and has a childrens play area, Church, payphone, and an excellent 12th century Pub and Resturant called The Weary Friar. There is an attractive walk out of the village to Clapper Bridge which takes you through a wooded area alongside the river Lyhner. A ten minute drive brings you to St. Mellion Golf and country club which has several world renowned golf courses. It also has an indoor pool, gym and restaurants. Also within 1 mile are 2 different fishing lakes. Nearby towns of Callington and Saltash have shops and banks. The nearest bus stop is 1.5mls away in the village of st Mellion.

There are numerous holiday attractions, historic buildings and gardens to visit, these include the famous Eden Project, nearby Cothele House and Gardens, Lanhydrock House and gardens. The Lost Gardens of Helligan, Dobwalls adventure Park, Plymouth Aquarium, Dingles Steam Village, Morwellham Quay (open air museum based around the old port and copper mine), Launceston Steam Railway, Launceston Castle, Tamar Valley Donkey Park, Carnglaze caverns, with the seaside at Looe being 12 miles away and Fambards Adventure Park.

12th century Pub and Resturant called The Weary Friar in the nearby village of Pillaton, also Callington and Saltash have a variety of Indian and Chinese resturants and take-aways. St. Mellion Golf and country club also has restaurants.

Take the A388 road from Saltash to Hatt at the roundabout turn left signposted to Pillaton follow this road for approximately two and a half miles until you come to a crossroads take the left turn and the caravan site is 50yds on your right.
